Do you like to WRITE? To SHARE IDEAS? To be an INSPIRATION TO OTHERS? Then blogging might be for you. Perhaps like others, you have been forced to work from home during the current pandemic or may have even lost your job.
But once you got used to it, you may have discovered that you actually LIKE being at home. I know that for myself, I have appreciated saving some money by not having to commute to an office, have enjoyed getting back into cooking and trying some new recipes, and have taken advantage of the nearby walking and hiking trails to get some much-needed fresh air and exercise. The thing about it is that it’s pretty nice being in charge of how you spend your own time and having no one to answer to, other than yourself.
This time of quarantine has forced us to take stock of different aspects of our lives because we have had nothing but time on our hands. Maybe you’ve even started journaling your thoughts, which you may have never done before. You may have found that you have a knack for writing or just getting your thoughts on paper.
But blogging is more than just a forum to voice your opinions if it’s not generating any traffic. There is money to be made as a blogger by becoming an affiliate partner or monetizing your site in other ways.
What does success look like? Here are some strategies that you need in place to become successful at it. It takes time, but it can be done.
